The Nigeria Youth in Parliament Forum (NYPF) has announced plans to train no fewer than 1 million young Nigerians in information and communications technology (ICT) under its Take Action Campaign (TAC).
The training programme will be offered at no cost to participants and calls have been sent out to state governments to support its implementation by mobilising the youth through their respective ministries of youth affairs to ensure wide and effective participation.
Also included in the mobilisation, are the 6 geopolitical zones, who have been factored in to recruit the youth in their respective zones for the training as well.

This bootcamp is 100% focused on "Global Career Gateway" roles and opportunities in the growing Nigerian digital economy. You won't just learn theory; you'll learn practical skills that you can immediately begin applying, gaining access to a global career network to help you launch your new career.
Become a digital defender. This track builds your ability to protect networks and systems. You will learn the CIA Triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability), the importance of firewalls and IDS/IPS systems, the basics of identity management with RBAC and MFA, and how to respond to live incidents by triaging alerts.
Master the rules of user data protection in the digital age. This track is essential for any roles in organizations that handle data. You will gain deep knowledge of global and local regulations, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. You will learn to conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments DPIAs, implement ‘Privacy-by-Design’, and manage data breach reporting to keep your organization compliant with Nigerian laws and requirements to avoid customer backlash and fines.
Elevate your value to your organization by mastering the principles behind your data in the cloud. This track combines data management with modern cloud infrastructure. You will learn the differences between IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, understand the vital ‘Shared Responsibility Model’ for security, manage data quality and metadata, and learn how to control cloud costs while ensuring compliance with existing and emerging policies such as the National Cloud Policy.
Why is there so much talk about data in today’s world? In this introductory course, designed to complement the cybersecurity, data governance, cloud and data protection modules, go from raw event data to business strategy. This track covers the full analytical lifecycle culminating in presenting to a business audience. You will learn to use SQL side-by-side with click and drag applications to clean and extract insights from real world data. You will build and evaluate basic predictive models, and master the art of data storytelling to influence business decisions.
